After lots of research and measuring, we have finally decided on a sectional for our living room! With some inspiration from Young House Love, we will be getting the Ikea Karlstad sofa with a chaise in dark grey, and refinishing the legs to a black-brown color.

This sofa is a great price, and gets good reviews for comfort and durability. The dark grey fabric that we chose will hopefully hide Kaiah's shedding and can also be easily wiped down. The sofa is entirely slip covered, so we can always wash it or replace it in a few years.
We're planning to paint or stain the legs a darker color. I can't wait to have all that room to stretch out!
